🛑 **Community Update: Keeping Our Streets Safe Together** 🛑

Hello neighbours,  

We understand the concern some of you may have about recent events involving motorcycles behaving recklessly in our town. We want to assure you that your safety is our priority, and we’re here to keep our streets safe! 🚔  

On a recent patrol, officers were alerted to the presence of motorcycles traveling above safe speeds in multiple areas, including Surbiton Road, Penrhyn Road, and Ewell Road. Our team, along with CCTV operators, worked diligently to track their movements and intervene where needed.  

After stopping one of the motorcycles, an unfortunate crash occurred when the driver attempted to mount the footpath at slow speed but lost control. Officers were quick to respond, ensuring both the driver and passenger received immediate help. While one officer arrested the driver for dangerous driving and failing to stop for police, our priority was also to care for the passenger, who sustained injuries. Highly trained officers and ambulance services provided medical assistance. ❤️
